To prepare outstanding, community-focused travel and tourism professionals with dynamic management and leadership abilities based on substantial, current industry experience

Tourism Graduates of Jeddah international college will possess the following knowledge, skills, and professional values at a level sufficient to commence the practice of tourism industry:

• Knowledge: To develop understanding and knowledge of the nature of hospitality, and the organizations, management and impacts associated with the provision and consumption of hospitality & tourism in a contemporary global environment.
• Skills: Build upon students’ intellectual and academic abilities to examine and rigorously apply conceptual frameworks to evaluate and deliver tourism management.
• Professional Formation: Facilitate students’ understanding of and expertise in a wide range of transferable skills and competencies that are particularly appropriate to careers in tourism, but which are relevant to a wide range of other industries and activities.

• Having the organizational, leadership, and negotiation abilities necessary for success in the tourism business.
• Assurance when making decisions and handling problems under difficult circumstances.
• Graduates will be capable of critical self-inquiry and independent learning.
• Successfully converse and argue in a professional setting.
• Create and present an investigational program while taking creativity and uniqueness into account.
• Utilize time management, teamwork, and computer literacy to effectively manage different tasks.

The Tourism program qualifies students to work in diverse and distinguished managerial positions within the primary and subsidiary sectors of the travel and tourism industry. Among these sectors are:

– Tourism and travel companies
– Airlines
– The Supreme Commission for Tourism and Antiquities
– Airport operating companies
– Hajj and Umrah companies
– Hotels and tourist resorts

1. The student must have obtained at least 65% in the high school certificate or its equivalent
2. The Certificate Equivalency Letter from the Ministry of Education must be provided in case the student obtained a high school certificate from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
3. The student must not be registered in another university or college.
4. The student must pass the English placement test and any other tests determined by the college as one of the admission requirements.
5. The student must be medically fit.
